Tablature for Lap Steel Guitar. This is a wonderful strum tuning. It is the F#m9th tuning! That is, the F# minor 9th tuning. On the first four strings you have the C# minor tuning, and then by strumming all the strings you have the F# minor 9th tuning! If you have an 8 string, try using a G# on the 7th string and an E for the 8th string, which extends your tuning.

(Note: I wrote this tablature to match the provided rhythm track to make it easy for you, but the track I played along with on my recording is a key higher. It's a different track. So if you try to play along with the song you are hearing in the background on this webpage, it won't match the tabs. But here's something that you may be interested in... I often use a program called MixCraft to change the pitch and tempo of songs. It's a really helpful program, which is also a complete recording studio. You can change a song to any key you'd like, and then adjust the pitch incrementally to get it perfectly in tune with your guitar. You can also change the tempo without changing the pitch. I use the cheaper $90 version of MixCraft, but even the Pro version is very reasonably priced at $165 (which includes a lot of audio tools).
